Pregnancy Massage Brisbane

Pregnancy Massage at Zelberry Offers Knowledge and Experience that is Unique and Valuable to Your Pregnancy Journey

What is Pregnancy Massage?

Pregnancy massage is a type of massage therapy designed specifically for pregnant women.

It can help alleviate some of the discomforts associated with pregnancy, such as back and hip pain, swelling, and fatigue.

Pregnancy massage is typically performed by a licensed massage therapist who has received specialised training in prenatal massage techniques.

Harriet's extensive training and experience in pregnancy massage allows her to provide this service throughout the entire pregnancy journey, from preconception to postnatal support.

She is well-equipped to address discomforts associated with all three trimesters, as well as prepare women for induction, labor and birth.

With her specialised training and expertise, Harriet can offer a safe and effective massage experience for pregnant women.

It's always recommended to consult with your healthcare provider before scheduling a massage.

How will a Pregnancy Massage Help Me?

There are many benefits to pregnancy massage during pregnancy.

In addition to reducing physical discomfort, pregnancy massage can also help to improve your emotional well-being.

It can reduce stress and anxiety, and promote relaxation and a sense of calm.

Additionally, clients of Zelberry have found that their pregnancy and birth experience has been much improved.

Reduced pain has allowed them to work longer giving them more maternity leave with their baby.

The majority of previous clients have had a positive birthing experience allowing for reduced recovery time postnatally.

It is also important to consider having massage to prepare for pregnancy.

Resolving any muscle imbalances in your body before pregnancy can make for a much more comfortable pregnancy journey.

What to Expect at Your Pregnancy Massage Appointment

If you're pregnant and considering a pregnancy massage, you may be wondering what to expect from your first session.

During your initial consultation, Harriet will ask you about your pregnancy, any symptoms you may be experiencing, and your overall health history.

Harriet will then tailor the massage to your specific needs, using techniques that are safe and effective for pregnant women.

As a result of Harriet's extensive training in pregnancy massage she has found side lying massage to be the safest, most effective and comfortable way to treat her pregnant clients.

This allows her to work on areas of tension and discomfort, helping to alleviate pain and promote relaxation.

Overall, your first pregnancy massage will be a calming and rejuvenating experience that leaves you feeling more comfortable and at ease.

Meet Your Pregnancy Massage Therapist

When Harriet moved to Queensland in 2008 after getting married and she soon fell pregnant.

Through her first two pregnancies she did not feel comfortable seeking massage from local therapists.

This was mainly because she knew how little knowledge she had of massaging during pregnancy. Even with her Diploma of Remedial Massage.

Before she fell pregnant with her third son she travelled back to Melbourne to study a Diploma of Pregnancy Massage.

With this she began her specialty in pregnancy massage in 2012.

Now with over a decade of pregnancy massage and adding pregnancy reflexology and acupressure to her tool kit she has unique skill set in Queensland. Harriet offers a highly effective service to bring balance to your body before, during and after pregnancy.

Harriet was an absolute godsend during my pregnancy.

I was in quite a lot of pain before I found her and after just the first session, there was a significant improvement that only got better with subsequent sessions.
I’m so glad I found you 💖 thank you so much
